NRI Woman completes solo car journey and creates Guinness Records

A 43-year-old NRI woman, Bharulata Kamble has completed her solo car journey of 32,000 kilometres from the United Kingdom to India traversing 32 countries in record 57 days. Spreading the message of “Save girls, educate girls” throughout her journey, she is set to build a healthcare facility in her native town Navsari in Gujarat with the funds collected through her journey.

She is said to be the first woman who has visited most countries in 57 days. Kamble traversed through nine mountain ranges (5,500 km of mountain driving), three major deserts (2,500 km through deserts) and two continents before completing her journey. She entered India through Moreh Check post in Manipur on November 8. The journey is set to be recorded in the Guinness Book of World Records.
