The National Milk Day (NMD) is celebrated every year on November 26 to mark the birth anniversary of Dr. Verghese Kurien, the father of India’s White Revolution. The 2016 campaign uses the cow as the visual element to highlight the works of Dr. Kurien. Additionally, Amul has also printed 150 million milk pouches with the National Milk Day logo which features Dr. Kurien’s picture with the National Milk Day logo on it.
