Awn Khasawneh led fresh Government sworn in Jordan by Jordan’s King Abdullah II in. Khasawneh is a 61-year-old international judge at the International Court of Justice. He substitutes PM Maaruf Bakhit, who was fired a week ago allegedly for the mis-management of the domestic crisis. One of the major challenges before the new Government would be to usher in political reforms in the country in the wake of latest uprisings in the region. Jordan has continued mostly unharmed by the alterations in the Arab world.
