8 years of MyGov Platform
Minister of Electronics and IT, Ashwini Vaishnaw, launched the event to celebrate “8 years of MyGov” in New Delhi on July 30, 2022. During the event, dignitaries like G20 Sherpa Shri Amitabh Kant, CEO of NITI Aayog Parameswaran Iyer, and Secretary of Capacity Building Commission Hemang Jani were present.
Responsible AI for Youth 2022:
Responsible AI for Youth 2022 was also launched by Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw. It has been created by National E-Governance Division of Ministry of Electronics & IT in association with Intel India. Ministry of Education also extended its support to the program. This program will be opened for all school students, who are studying in classes 8-12 in India. It will help in to encouraging a deep understanding of AI-tech as well as encourage youngsters to become human-centric designers.
About MyGov:
MyGov is citizen engagement platform, launched by the Government of India. It was launched on July 26, 2014. It has been developed based on three pillars namely- ‘Do’, ‘Discuss’ and ‘Disseminate’. Since then, MyGov has evolved to become one stop destination for citizens in a bid to contribute their unique skills in nation-building. Furthermore, MyGov has played a significant role in filling the communication gap by spreading information in creative formats and mediums like videos, podcasts, infographics, interactive dashboards etc. More than 2.5 crore citizens have been registered on the platform.
