7th Community Radio Sammelan held in New Delhi

The 7th Community Radio Sammelan7th Community Radio Sammelan was held at Dr. BR Ambedkar Bhawan, New Delhi from 27th to 29th August, 2019. It was organized by Ministry of Information & Broadcasting. The theme of this year’s sammelan was ‘Community Radio for SDGs’.

Highlights of 7th Community Radio Sammelan

It had witnessed participation of all operational Community Radio Stations across the country. It discussed experiences and possibilities of programming for raising awareness on sustainable development goals in a better manner. It also witnessed discussion on various flagship schemes of government such as Jal Shakti Abhiyaan and efforts for disaster risk reduction. Discussions on research, production, broadcasting, dissemination of social welfare messages through social media and content management for community radio stations was also discussed.
