7th Asian Air Gun Championship: Indian shooters Chain Singh and Ms Heena Sidhu clinched gold medal

Screenshot_11Screenshot_12At the 7th Asian Air Gun Championship in Kuwait, India’s ace shooter Ms Heena Sidhu clinched the air pistol women’s gold medal and Chain Singh bagged a gold medal in men’s air rifle event. In the women’s team event, Heena (386), Shweta Chaudhary (378) and Harveen Srao (374) won the silver medal in the team event with a total score of 1138/1200. In the men’s team event, Chain Singh (619.6), Ravi Kumar (620.7) and PT Raghunath (615.8) won the bronze medal. The gold and silver medals were won by China and Iran.
Note: Presently, Heena Sidhu is the world record holder in finals with a score of 203.8 at ISSF World Cup in Munich, Germany in 2013.
