5th International Conference on RoadTech held in New Delhi
The 5th International Conference on Road Tech (Sustainable Roads and Highways) was held in New Delhi. The Conference Agenda was- ‘Smart Use of Available Resources for Green and Sustainable Roads’ The conference was addressed by Union Minister of State for Road Transport V.K. Singh.
Key Highlights of Conference
In the last five years great amount of works have been done in field of infrastructure and in future much more will be done by government. Since infrastructure propels growth of economy, thus to achieve this growth country needs sustainable and environment friendly roads and highways.
Industry body must find the unique way to monetize road projects in an environment friendly manner. Also more focus must be given to infrastructure sector to fight economic slowdown.
