Centre extends Emergency Credit Line Guarantee Scheme till the end of November
The GoI extended the Emergency Credit Line Guarantee Scheme (ECLGS) till November 30. So far Rs 3 lakh crore has been sanctioned under the scheme. The scheme was Announced as part of the Atma Nirbhar Baharat. The main objective of the scheme is to support the MSMEs.
Business sentiment increases during July-September: NCAER
The NCAER (National Council for Applied Economic Research) survey says that the Business sentiment in the country has increased by 41% between July and September. The sentiment was at a record low in the previous quarter. The Business Confidence Index (BCI) based on the Business Expectation Survey increased to 65.5 in the second quarter. It dropped down to 46.4 in the first quarter.
MSME Credit Health Index launched by TransUnion CIBIL, MoSPI

On November 1, 2020, Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton won the Formula One Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix at Imola in Italy. The second prize was won by another Mercedes driver Valtteri Bottas. A Red Bull driver, Daniel Ricciardo, won the third prize. Mercedes won the 2020 constructors’ championship.
Rutuja Bhosale wins women’s singles title at $15,000 ITF women’s tennis
On November 1, 2020, India’s Rutuja Bhosale won the women’s singles title at the $15,000 ITF women’s tennis tournament. The tournament was held at Sharm El Sheikh. She beat Anna Siskova of the Czech Republic 6-3, 7-5 in the final to win the title.
