3rd Edition of Global Maritime India Summit 2023
In a virtual ceremony held on October 17, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the third edition of the Global Maritime India Summit 2023 (GMIS). This monumental event, hosted in Mumbai, is recognized as the largest maritime gathering in the country. Prime Minister Modi also unveiled ‘Amrit Kaal Vision 2047,’ a forward-looking plan for India’s maritime blue economy. In line with this vision, he inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for projects worth more than Rs 23,000 crores, aligning with the goals of the ‘Amrit Kaal Vision 2047.’
