32nd Edition of PRAGATI chaired by Prime Minister

The Prime Minister of India,  Narendra Modi on Wednesday, 22nd January 2020 chaired the 32nd PRAGATI interaction to discuss the progress of several projects. The interaction was made through PRAGATI – the multi-modal platform for ‘Pro-Active Governance and Timely Implementation’, which involved the participation of Central and state governments. A total of eleven items were discussed during the first PRAGATI meeting of the year, out of which 9 are delayed projects worth Rs 24,000 crores spread over 9 states and 3 union territories of the country. Crime and Criminal Tracking Network and Systems (CCTNS) project and the progress of the insurance schemes Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana (PMJJBY) and Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana (PMSBY) were reviewed.

Prime Minister had launched the Information and communication technology-based multi-modal governance platform PRAGATI on March 2015. PRAGATI is an interactive platform chaired by the Prime Minister to review and monitor important projects of the Centre and various State governments.
