Namdapha National Park of Arunachal Pradesh is one of the richest areas in biodiversity in India. It is the largest protected area in the Eastern Himalaya biodiversity hotspot. Namdapha National park was established in 1983 and is largest National park in North east India and third largest National Park in entire India after the Hemis National Park of Jammu & Kashmir and Desert National Park of Rajasthan. Located between the Dapha bum range of the Mishmi Hills and the Patkai range with a wide altitudinal range between 200 m and 4571 m, Namdapha National park has a climate ranging from tropical to subtropical, temperate and arctic. It is also site of rare Sapria Himalayan, a parasitic flowering plant related to Rafflesia.

With around 160 Lakh tons of production, India is the third largest salt producing country in the world. Gujarat, Rajasthan , Andhra Pradesh and Tamilnadu are 4 largest salt producing states in India. In Orissa too, salt is produced in coastal districts of Ganjam, Puri and Balasore and around 30 thousand tons of Salt is produced here.

It is the most important festival of western Odisha and it takes place in the bright half of the month of Bhadrab on an auspicious day fixed by the astrologers. Though the festival is intended for eating new rice of the year, it is observed as a general festival. On this occasion the new rice is cooked with milk and sugar (Kshiri) and then offered as Bhog to Goddess Laxmi.

The Bina Refinery is located in Madhya Pradesh and operated by Bharat Oman Refineries Ltd (BORL). It was established in 2011. The refinery has a capacity of 6 million metric tonnes per annum. It is a result of collaboration between Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd and Oman Oil Company. The products of this refinery mainly cater to the Northern and Central India.

Debi river/Devi river is the one of the main distributaries of Mahanadi River. It flows through Odisha and joins Bay of Bengal. It also serves as nesting ground for Olive Ridley turtles.
