Chemistry Nobel 2013 to Levitt, Karplus and Warshel
The Nobel Prize in Chemistry for 2013 will be shared by Michael Levitt, a British and US citizen, US-Austrian Martin Karplus and US-Israeli Arieh Warshel. As per Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences who announces the names for the awards, the Nobel Laureates in Chemistry 2013 have made it possible to map the mysterious ways of chemistry by using computers.

The trio has been credited for the development of multi scale models for complex chemical systems.
They devised computer simulations to understand chemical processes. Their works laid the foundations for new kinds of pharmaceuticals and contributed to exploring multiple options in cyber space.
